FIFA MA Elite Referees Course ends today:

Today in BFF house 5 days long FIFA Member Association Elite Referees Course ended successfully. The course started on 5 February 2009. Today in the afternoon, BFF President was present there during the closing ceremony.

In the closing ceremony, FIFA Referees Development Officer from FIFA DO Colombo Mr Muhiseen Arif said, "In Bangladesh there are many talented referees. If these referees are given with proper training & given he responsibility of officiating matches then they will be very good referees in near future." He added that, "Short run & endourance training can make their performance better in international level. Course Instructor Mr Masud Enayet said, "I am very glad to find that many young & talented men & women are involved in refereeing in Bangladesh. If they continue their effort then they can really make good result in world level."

BFF Referees committee chairman said, "Bangladeshi referees do their job with neautrality & honesty. These courses will let the referees to perform better."

BFF President Kazi Md Salahuddin said, "In a football match, Referee is the most powerful man than any player and any official. So they have to do be strict in giving their decision honestly. Same time all the club officials & players should also respect the decision of the Referee." He added that, "Referees of Bangladesh are already internationally recognized and BFF will take every possible step for improvement.

Total 34 referees took part where 7 of them were female. After the speaches BFF President handed over the certificates among participants. BFF Referees Committee Deputy Chairman Mr Manrul Islam was also present there along with committee menbers.
