Arambagh finish at 9th place:
Arambagh ended their Citycell B. League campaign yesterday on a winning note when they took revenge of their first-leg defeat to Chittagong Abahani.
The Dhaka outfit, who crashed 4-0 to Chittagong Abahani in the first half of the second professional league in the port city, won the first match of the league's penultimate round 1-0 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Guinean import Mohammed Lamin Soumah struck in the 76th minute, his second goal in as many matches, inside from the penalty area after a defence lapse by the visitors.
It was Arambagh's fourth win in 20 matches and they finished on 18 points, three behind Chittagong Abahani who have a match in hand at home against Dhaka Mohammedan in the final round.
Arambagh, who drew six games and lost 10, missed the Super Cup battle as they finished third from bottom in the 11-team fray.
